Halloween was pretty disasterous for Gresh, he invited me to his house to watch scary movies.. Wolf Creek & The Hostel we thought would be quite relevant as they are both pretty much about backpacker murders! We never did watch them though, i met him in the city and his housemate gave us a lift home; on the way to which we would stop off at Blockbusters or Videoeasy on the way, they were both closed so we ended up watching 6 episodes of the Simpsons instead!

I did my tax return the other day and to my amazement they estimated i would receive $1014 back, that will do me alot of good when i return to Perth!

I went to the City Beach the other day but they were doing builing work and rennovations in the off season and i coudnt swim there. The parks surrounding it were very nice though!

I've booked my flight back to Perth! I fly on the 17th of November and i get to Perth at 23:40! I'm looking forward to getting back to Perth and sorting things out, seeing everyone again, and seeing Nan & Grandad and Ashleigh :)

I had to move rooms today, not too happy about it as i liked my last room.. although a couple of days ago some loud, smelly Aussie guys moved in so i'm glad to be shot of them! Can't get internet in my room anymore but i can still use it in the kitchen!

I have been doing quite abit of walking, across the city to use the internet in the library! Today i walked along part or the Brisbane River walk, i runs for miles along both sides of the river and is quite nice. Tomorrow i'm going to go to the Botanic gardens and inner city Beach (see pictures in next post)!

Ok.. I have finally moved on, and i am finally updating my diary! I didn't see the point in updating in my last 3 weeks as all i would have had to say is; went to work, came home from work etc etc!

Got to Brisbane at 5:10am on the 16th October! The flight cost me $201, it wasn't too bad a flight, i slept for about 2 1/2 hours of it! Although once id landed i had to wait an hour for the first train to leave the airport! I arrived in the city center and went looking for a Hungry Jacks/McDonalds with my backpack on! After Breakfast i lugged my bag around for a further 2 hours until Gresh met me at the train station! My hostel is really nice, not too big & it feels quite homely! Theres a TV room too.. great for relaxing in! Best thing of all is that some idiot living nearby has left thier wireless internet connection open so i can use free internet from my room! :)

Brisbane is alot more interesting than Darwin, it's a real city with alot more character! There's plenty of old Buildings & river view to take pictures of. I have a thing for big cities, the business makes me constantly excited!
